1 of 1 people found the following evaluation helpful: Rodney James is ok as a person but absolutley garbage as a teacher. He is so unclear when he explains things using six different chalk boards to explain one problem. The online quizes do not help for the tests and make you do more work than you are supposed to. He will give you one example of something that is going to be on the test but then he will put something alot harder on the actual test so then you dont even know what to do. And as far as grading the tests you get no points for trying it you have to have it exactly right. I recieved a B but only because my quiz grades helped and I got help from someone else besides Rodney. Was this rating helpful to you? |

1 of 1 people found the following evaluation helpful: Rodney James is very unclear when it comes to how he lays out his lectures. He jumps back and forth to three different problems at the same time. Taking notes is next to impossible because of how he writes things down on the board. He also takes a long time to get through material so when you have to do mathxl quizes sometimes you have no idea whats goin on because hes behind. This teacher seems a little awkward in front of the class and his notes on the board are unclear because he cuts a lot of words out of his sentences. He takes a really long time to explain concepts and the format seems a little scattered. But he always leaves plenty of time to ask questions. oh yeah...take note of the underarm sweat!

DOOOOOOORRKKK! This guys like the real life Millhouse. however mr. rodney was an excellent teacher, responsive to student needs and explained things well in class. Once in class Rod let a little fart rip and it rocked the girls in the front row. SLAM DUNK! If you want a goofball hipster take him

I took this class from Rodney a couple of years ago as a freshman and would not have survived without him. Great TA.

Rodney is an okay guy. The material is not difficult but can be if not presented clearly. If you don't understand, he is great and able to clarify any questions people have. He is always available for office hours, and I suggest you go to them often...otherwise the tests are not too difficult, as long as you have gone to class everyday and taken good notes. I also recommend having a TI-83 calculator or higher, as what you are doing revolves around your calculator. Rodney is a nice guy...just kind of quirky.
