0 of 1 people found the following evaluation helpful: I took this class to fulfill by arts and humanities credit. I was really unsure, because I am not a philosophy person. I was surprised that I really did enjoy this class. It was not too difficult, but you had to go to class and take good notes. His exams are essay- but he gives you a list of essay questions that he could ask you, and on test day he picks 5 of them for you to write about. If you prepare for the exams- know all the answers to the questions in an essay format- you should do well. The first two exams I got a 100%. So as long as you have the information- he is not a hard grader. In his course there is three tests and a paper. I recommend taking this class with alvarez, he is very easy to understand. He clearly states the main points to all topics (which is what he is looking for on his tests). Was this rating helpful to you? |
