You can tell she is extremely intelligent, but the tests were never over what we discussed in class. She sometimes failed to clarify new tax laws and counted off when you applied the laws from the textbook to exams. It was a very interesting class, and helpful however. 1 of 2 people found the following evaluation helpful: This class is actually kind of hard compared to the other classes she teaches. I only got a 70% on the midterm but still got an A in the class. Tip of advice talk a lot and every day, at the end she gives extra points for the #1 participant and gives each student a "test" grade based upon participation. Stocktrak is great and she is the only teacher who does this, except there is a lot of homework attached to it. Dr. B is an inncredible teacher who gives real life situations and has relevence to us. She is a die hard liberal (for some reason) and loves to argue with anyone who is a republican, not in a bad way but class is way more intresting if you are loud and republican. 0 of 1 people found the following evaluation helpful: Dr. B is a great teacher, but really if you are not a complete idiot you should be able to pass this course or any other class Dr. B teaches. Though she is a great teacher and a great person, despite the easy A. She will help any of her students out at any time, be it class related, other class related, or legal issues that have nothing to do with class. She cares about each of her students. Be sure to attend class and read ahead, you wont get your easy A by not going, you have to at least put your name on her attendence quizes. Was this rating helpful to you? |

She did have pop quizzes a lot though, but you got half credit just for being there so it wasn't so bad. Was this rating helpful to you? |

Her homework assignments are easy to complete. Her exams are tough but she usually offers a very helpful study guide. Anyone who doesn't get at least a B in her class isn't trying. She has an evenly distributed, fair workload that finally dives into something that might have some real-world application unlike most of my classes so far. She is extremely knowlegdable and is relatively easy to understand. The material is somewhat difficult, but the tests were very fair in the choice of materials on them. Overall, a great teacher to have and especially to get to know! Was this rating helpful to you? |
